Although I am not certain why, this painting filled me with a peace that reminded me of that verse; perhaps that is something that will resonate with you as well."

"I often take walks in the early morning, and also at that mystical time of day around golden hour, when the sun is reluctantly falling back behind the horizon. As the sun takes leave to rest, its impression on everything it touches is gold and red. It's those last moments that I adore so much — bidding the trees and the buildings, the clouds and the water goodbye, and the 'Last Kiss of Light' lingers."
